What kind of Dog Food do I feed ?

The kibble I use for all my Frenchies - Adults and Pups is Acana Puppy Junior (yellow bag). It is grain-free.
Grains do not have the proper kind of protein that can be used by dogs. Dogs need the protein found in meat and eggs.
With so many people and dogs developing allergies to wheat and gluton, it is best to stay away from grains in your dog food
and treats as it may cause more harm than good.
My dogs also get quite a few treats through the day but they are healthy treats (no sugar added), like Pure Snacks dried liver,
raw organic carrots or apples (only feed organic or you may be doing your dog more harm than good),
My dogs love frozen organic or wild blueberries. I just give them a few frozen, right from the freezer.
My dogs also get cut up raw liver and kidney everyday (all the fat taken off as Frenchies cannot handle too much fat).
We all know that liver is good for us, but raw liver is even better as it provides important enzymes that are killed during cooking.
These are natural, healthy immune boosters.
And of course they have their "chewie" everyday. The healthiest chewies (next to the real bones) are probably the 'bullies" I buy at Pet Planet.
Puppies should not have real bones until they are 6 months old and have their adult teeth, as their baby teeth are not very strong and they can break on real bones.
Some people would say my dogs are spoiled - I prefer to think they are loved.

If you want to feed raw exclusively, you must have it down to a science - best left to professionals, especially for a growing puppy,
so they get all their daily vitamin & mineral requirements, in the proper ratios.
Note that the Calcium to Phosphorus ratio is extremely important: approx 1.2 Calcium to 1 Phosphorus.

all of it`s daily requirements: http://www.completeandbalanced.com/

Never give a puppy or dog cows milk as it will give them diarrhea.

Never feed a dog fresh raw Pacific Salmon as it can cause Salmon poisoning in Canines
and without treatment the dog will likely die.
If you want to feed raw Pacific salmon freeze it at -20C for 7 days to kill the parasite that can cause the poisoning.

Never feed any kind of cooked bones as they can splinter, damaging your dogs insides.
